Robert Nutting (b. March 18, 1947) is a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 78. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008. He also served in the chamber from 1999 to 2006.

Nutting served as the Speaker of the House from 2011-2012.[1] He served on the Oakland Town Council from 1977-1988.[2]

Nutting won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 78. Nutting ran unopposed in the June 12 Republican primary and defeated Harry Hayes (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
