Robert Story (b. December 10, 1952) is a former Republican member of the Montana State Senate, representing District 30 from 2007 to 2011. State term limits disqualified him from re-election in 2010.

Story earned his B.S. from Montana State University.

Story is a farmer/rancher.

Story has been a member of the Park City School Board of Trustees. He then served in the Montana State House from 1995 to 2002. He joined the Montana State Senate in 2003 and has served in that position since. From 2008 to 2009 he was Senate Minority Whip and was President of the Senate until 2011.
