Wolfe ran for Secretary of State in 2012. He faced incumbent Kate Brown (Democratic, Working Families), Knute Buehler (Republican, Independent), Bruce Alexander Knight (Libertarian), and Seth Woolley (Pacific Green Party) in the general election on November 6, 2012, which Brown won.[2]
