Robin Read (b. April 10, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Rockingham 16 District from 2008 to 2012. Read is a member of the New Hampshire State Democratic Committee. His political experiences include staff to Shaheen for Governor campaign; New Hampshire staff to Kerrey for President campaign; research director to McEachern for Governor; and New Hampshire primary staff to Dukakis for President campaign.

Read is a program manager for the Governor's Office of Energy and Community Services and owner of New Hampshire Research.

Read earned his B.A. in english from the University of North Carolina and an M.A. in political science from Goddard College.[1]

On November 4, 2008, Read ran for the Rockingham District 16 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, winning the sixth of seven seats with 6,338 votes.[4]
