This measure sought to increase the current road levy by a rate of $1 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of eight years in order to further pay for road and bridge construction and repair costs in the township. It was approved.

The question on the ballot:
|Shall the 15 mill tax limitation imposed under Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution on general ad valorem taxes within Robinson Township, Ottawa County, Michigan, be increased for eight (8) years, 2012 through 2019, in the amount of one (1) mill ($1.00 per thousand dollars of taxable valuation) for all property in the Township, to provide funds for the paving, repair, construction or reconstruction of roads, bridges or drainage structures; and shall the Township be authorized to levy the tax?|
