The question on the ballot:
|To provide operating funds for the Romulus Community Schools, Wayne County, Michigan, shall the limitation on the taxes that may be levied upon principal residences, qualified agricultural property, qualified forest property, supportive housing property, industrial personal property, and commercial personal property in the District be increased by 5.1314 mills ($5.1314 per $1,000 of Taxable Value), for a period of five (5) years, 2012 through 2016 inclusive? The estimate of the revenue the District will collect from combined taxes authorized herein if the millage is approved and levied in the 2012 calendar year is approximately $2,160,000.00.|
