Ron Carroll was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 59 of the Arkansas House of Representatives.


Carroll earned his B.S.E. in Physical Education from Arkansas State University in 1975 and his M.S. in Physical Education with a Specialization Athletic Training from Indiana State University in 1976. His professional experience includes working as the Chief Certified Athletic Trainer for Arkansas State University and serving on the Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training.[1]

Elections for the office of Arkansas House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014; a runoff election took place where necessary on June 10, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 3, 2014. Ron Carroll was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Jack Ladyman was unopposed in the Republican primary. Carroll was defeated by Ladyman in the general election.[2][3]
