The question on the ballot:

Shall the previously voted increase in limitation on the amount of taxes that may be levied by the Charter Township of Royal Oak, Oakland

County, Michigan, against all property in the Royal Oak Township district be renewed for a total of 2.5 mills (which is equal to $2.50 per $1,000 of taxable value of real and tangible personal property), for a period of 25 years, 2011 to 2036, inclusive, to provide funds for the Township’s Park and Recreation Department for recreational purposes? The estimated amount of revenue the Township will collect in the first year that the millage is authorized and levied will be an estimated $105,000.00[3]
