Recall Effort

Following a controversial vote to dissolve the Fire Authority Board and to eject the local post office[10] there was an effort to recall Salem Township Supervisor Robert Heyl, Treasurer Paul Uherek and Trustee Wayne Wallazy for their support of the measures.[11]

When it came time to vote though, none of the Salem Township elected officials who faced a recall election were ousted.[12]
