San Francisco No Advertising on City Property, Proposition E (November 2009)
Measure E prohibited new commercial advertisers on city property.
Political reporter Melissa Griffin suggested to her readers, "Vote for this if you don’t want public buildings and street furniture to be so covered in ads that they resemble NASCAR vehicles. Vote against this if you figure no unsentimental city property should be off limits as a moneymaker."
- These final, certified, results are from the San Francisco County elections office.
