Scott County is located in south-central Mississippi. The district is located in Forest, which is the seat of Scott County. The city's population was 5,710 according to the 2010 U.S. Census.[1]


Forest underperformed the rest of Mississippi in terms of higher education attainment based on the 2010 U.S. Census.
