Controversies

Lively is target of a lawsuit filed by Sexual Minorities Uganda in 2012. The lawsuit credits Lively with "government-backed acts of violence against gays as a result of his rhetoric." Lively gave an address to the Ugandan parliament in 2009 in support of an anti-homosexual agenda. The case is pending in U.S. District Court in Springfield.[1]
