A Sevastopol School District Revenue Override Measure will be on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the Sevastopol school district area which is in Door County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 1,455 Approveda
  • NO 546[1]

This measure seeks to allow the school district to exceed the state set revenue limit by a rate of $800,000 for a period of two years. This would replace the previous override which is set to expire this year and also would be in place for two years. The money generated from this override would go towards general operational costs of the district.[2] The school superintendent informed local residents that a meeting would be held to discuss the issue, present residents with information and the proposed budget for if this measure does get approval.[3]
