Shannon Doyle Hanson was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 3 of the Montana State Senate.

Hanson owns a computer repair business, and served six years on the Whitefish school board.[1] He teaches social media part-time at Flathead Valley Community College.[2]

Hanson supports the Affordable Care Act and property tax reform.[2]

Hanson ran in the 2012 election for Montana State Senate, District 3. Hanson ran unopposed in the June 5 primary election and was defeated by Bruce Tutvedt in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
