Sherrie Taha was the Democratic nominee for Iowa State Secretary of Agriculture in the 2014 election.[1] Sherrie Taha lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Taha currently serves as the Soil-Water Conservation Commissioner for Polk County. She has worked as a teacher, businesswoman and artist.[1]

Taha ran for election to the office of Iowa Secretary of Agriculture in 2014.[1] She was unopposed for the Democratic nomination in the June 3 primary and faced Republican incumbent Bill Northey in the general election. New Independent Party candidate Levi Benning was also on the ballot. The general election took place November 4, 2014.
