From Ballotpedia
Jump to: navigation, search

The signature bluff is a method of achieving ballot access. The idea was first brought to the I&R limelight during the 2010 Global Forum. Tim Mooney, of Silver Bullet LLC, used this method to achieve ballot access in multiple (currently 5) states for Save our Secret Ballot measures.

This method requires filing initiatives, then utilizing lobbyists to convince the legislatures to put the measure on the ballot.
