A Sonoma County Director of Human Resources as an Appointed Person, Measure N ballot questions was on the November 2, 2010 ballot for voters in Sonoma County. It was approved.

Measure N amended the Sonoma County Civil Service Ordinance so that henceforward, the county's director of human resources is appointed by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. Measure N also add the role of "director of human resources" to the county's list of unclassified employees.

The question on the ballot:

Measure N: Shall the Sonoma County Civil Service Ordinance be amended to provide that the director of human resources be appointed by the Board of Supervisors and to add the director of human resources to the list of unclassified employees?[1]
