The South Dakota Managed Health Care Plans Referendum did not make the November 6, 2012 general election ballot in the state of South Dakota as a veto referendum. The measure's supporters were gathering signatures to place it on the ballot, but was not deemed valid for the ballot by state officials. The proposal would have put Senate Bill 38 to a vote. The bill would establish standards for managed health care plans.[1]
