South Dakota Repeal Dairy Marketing Act, Initiative 2 (1978)
The South Dakota Repeal Dairy Marketing Act Initiative, also known as Initiative 2, was on the November 7, 1978 ballot in South Dakota as an indirect initiated state statute, where it was approved. The measure repealed the Dairy Industry Marketing Act which removed dock and wholesale prices set by the dairy products marketing commission for milk, eliminated provisions the prohibited certain dairy marketing practices and eliminated the State Dairy Products Marketing Commission.
