South Dakota Investment of School Funds, Amendment E (2000)
The South Dakota Investment of School Funds Amendment, also known as Amendment E, was on the November 7, 2000 ballot in South Dakota as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure allowed the Investment Council to invest permanent school funds into stocks and similar investments and limited reimbursements to losses incurred only through unconstitutional acts.
