A Spokane City Community Bill of Rights Question was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Spokane which is in Spokane County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 28,653 (49.12%)
  • NO 29,679 (50.88%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to amend the city charter and establish a Community Bill of Rights.[2] The city council had officially stated its opposition to this measure, the measure would have made it that certain projects would need voter approval, lawsuits against companies or governments that pollute the Spokane River would be easier to pursue and would also challenge corporate rights.[3]
