The Spring Green Advisory Referendum was a question referred to the November 4 ballot in Spring Green which is in Sauk County. The question sought to know if the community would support a $600,000 buyout plan to assist victims of flooding in June 2008. The referendum was advisory only, meaning that if it were to pass, the legislature would not have to take any action.[1]

If the town were to participate in the program it would be responsible for 12.5% of the buyout funds.[2]

Defeated by 28 votes (470 to 498).[3]
