Renfroe has served on the Mississippi Public Service Commission since September 10, 2013. Appointed to fill out the remainder of Leonard Bentz's term, Renfroe said he would not run for the seat when it is up for election in 2015.
"I will not run in 2015. And because I won't run, I won't accept any political contributions either. I have no interest in becoming really political about this, even though I understand there may be some choppy water ahead," he stated.
