Steven Laird was a 2014 Libertarian candidate seeking election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of Nebraska.[1] Laird defeated Andy Shambaugh in the Libertarian primary on May 13, 2014.[2] He was defeated by Brad Ashford (D) in the general election on November 4, 2014.
