The question on the ballot:
|The Board of Commissioners of Stevens County, Washington adopted Resolutions No. 13-2011 and No. 16-2011, concerning a proposition to impose additional sales and use tax. This proposition would impose a three-tenths of one percent sales and use tax for collection in years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016, would share the revenues with the cities and towns and authorize the County to use its portion of revenues to fund criminal justice needs such as animal control, additional police protection, mitigation of congested court systems, or relief of overcrowded jails, all as provided in Resolutions No. 13-2011 and No. 16-2011.|
