Two Sugar Creek City Mayor & Aldermen Term Limits Questions were on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Sugar Creek, which is in Jackson County.

Both measures were approved[1]

Both measure sought to extend term limits to four years. The first measure will make term limits four year for the Mayor and the second question sought to extend the term limit of the city Aldermen.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Question 1: Shall the term of the Mayor of the City of Sugar Creek be four years commencing on April 2, 2013?

Question 2: Shall the term of the Board of Aldermen of the City of Sugar Creek be four years?[3]
