Ted Edmonds (b. September 30, 1943) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 91 since 2003.

Edmonds is a retired teacher.

He is a member of the Breathitt County Fish and Game Club, Gideons International, Nin Henson Nursing Home Board of Directors, and the University of Kentucky Extension Board of Directors.[1]

Edmonds ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 91. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and was defeated by Gary Wayne Herald (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Edmonds' opponents in the November 2 general election were Republican candidate Mike Bryant and Independent candidate Mark Wireman. According to official results, Edmonds defeated Bryant and Wireman with 6,572 votes; Bryant received 4,581 votes and Wireman received 970 votes.[4]

In the May 18th primary election, Edmonds defeated Democratic primary opponent Darrell Hogan by a margin of 5,931 to 2,686.

2008

On November 4, 2008, Edmonds was re-elected to the 91st District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[5] He raised $8,534 for his campaign.[6]
