Elections for the office of New York State Assembly took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election took place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 10, 2014. Mario Ferone was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Michael Montesano was unopposed in the Republican primary. Montesano also ran on the Conservative Party, Tax Revolt Party (TRP) and Independence Party of New York State tickets. Montesano defeated Ferone in the general election.[1][2][3]
