A total of 20 Tennessee school districts among America's largest school districts by enrollment will hold elections in 2014. These districts feature 85 seats up for election. Nineteen districts have scheduled elections in August 2014. Rutherford County Schools will hold elections on November 4, 2014. The districts listed below served 609,121 K-12 students during the 2010-2011 school year, according to the National Center for Education Statistics.[6]
