NASHVILLE, Tennessee: State Senator Douglas Henry announced earlier this month that he would not run for re-election in 2014.
Henry's attorney, Nick Bailey, said the decision was based around his ability to devote full attention to his ailing wife, Lolly.
First elected to the state senate in 1970, Henry also served in the state house from 1954-1956.
