Terry Adams was a 2014 Democratic candidate seeking election to the U.S. Senate from Tennessee.[1] Gordon Ball defeated Adams in the Democratic primary.[2]


Adams joined the Navy Reserve early enlistment program while in high school. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and attended law school. He and his wife, Phillis Burnett, own and operate a small business. Adams also practices law.[3]
