Terry Johnson is a former Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 37 from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2005 to 2013. He is the owner of Terry Johnson Realty.

Johnson is the Director of ARC Cobb (Right in the Community), Deacon/Past Chairman of Trustees with the Milford Baptist Church, Milford Optimist Club, Trustee with Truett-McConnell College, and a founding member of the Osborne High School Foundation.[1]

Johnson ran for re-election to the 37th District seat in 2010. He defeated Jason Shepherd (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[2]

In 2008 Johnson was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 37. Johnson (D) finished with 10,146 votes while his opponent Cindye Coates (R) finished with 7,589 votes.[4] Johnson raised $78,000 for his campaign fund.[5]
