Terry Kennedy holds the District 5 seat on the Pittsburgh school board. She first won election to the board on November 5, 2013.

Biography

Kennedy lives in the district with her husband and their two children. She has been an active volunteer at many schools in the district since 1999.[1] Kennedy is a former software engineer.[2]

Five seats on the Pittsburgh Public School Board were at stake in the upcoming election. The only incumbent running for re-election was Thomas Sumpter, making this the largest turnover Pittsburgh Public Schools had experienced in many years.
