Tiffin City Charter Amendments, 7 (November 2011)

Seven Tiffin City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Tiffin which is in Seneca County.

Six of the seven measures were approved[1]

The first measure sought to clarify language, the second measure sought to clarify how to fill vacant city council seats, the third measure sought to allow for the single publication of ordinances and the fourth sought to eliminate residency requirements for the finance and law directors. The fifth measure sought to make it that if the director of finance is not able to perform his job another resident employed by the city could take the place, the sixth measure sought to clarify the scope of the mayor and the seventh seeks to further clarify the nomination of candidates for office.[2]
