The general election will take place on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 7, 2014. Darrell Turner was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Incumbent Gerald Dial defeated Tim Sprayberry in the Republican primary. Turner will face Dial in the general election.[3][4][5][6]
