Tom LaBonge (b. October 6, 1953) is a member of the Los Angeles, California City Council, representing District 4. He was first elected to the council in 2001 in a special election that followed the death of District 4 City Council member John Ferraro. LaBonge was elected to his first full, four-year term in 2003 and was reelected in 2007 and 2011.[1]

Biography

LaBonge was born in Los Angeles. He holds a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles. His professional experience includes working on the staffs of several Los Angeles City Council members and as Director of Community Relations at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.[1]
