Tommy Thompson (Kentucky)
Tommy Thompson (b. October 10, 1948) is a former Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 14 from 2003 to 2017. He served as House Majority Whip from 2011 to 2014.
Thompson's professional experience includes working as Manager and President of Thompson Homes Incorporated.

2014
Elections for the Kentucky House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 28, 2014. Incumbent Tommy Thompson ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Marian Turley ran unopposed in the Republican primary. Thompson defeated Turley in the general election.[5][6][7]
2012
Thompson won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 14. He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Marian Turley (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[8][9]
2010
Thompson's opponent in the November 2 general election was Republican candidate Paul Estep. According to official results, Thompson defeated Estep by a margin of 11,282 to 5,559.[10]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Thompson was re-elected to the 14th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives with no opposition.[11] He raised $76,019 for his campaign.[12]
