Tondalaya Marie Nelson was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 6 of the Illinois House of Representatives. She was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014, after the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of Chicago found that Nelson had an insufficient amount of valid signatures.[1]

Incumbent Esther Golar ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election. Tondalaya Marie Nelson (R) was removed from the ballot on January 7, 2014.[2][3][4]
