Town of Los Gatos Skateboard Park, Measure D (February 2008)
If Measure D had been approved, it would have required the Town of Los Gatos be to construct and operate a skatepark "for the free use of its citizens." The skateboard park would have been located in the Miles Avenue property. The estimated cost of constructing the park was $1 million, and the funds would have come from existing funds of the town. It was anticipated that the annual operating costs would be about $50,000.
