Tracy A. Davidson is an at-large member on the Westerville City School Board. She first won election to the board on November 5, 2013 against six fellow challengers and one incumbent.

Biography

Davidson was raised in Northeastern Ohio and moved to Westerville in 1989. She graduated from The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology. She has spent most of her life as an educator, and she currently serves as a private tutor, in addition to volunteering in many area schools as a certified Orton-Gillingham specialist. She and her husband, Mark, have three children.[1]

Opposition

Eight candidates have declared their intentions to run for three at-large seats on the Westerville City School Board. Three of the candidates — Jim Burgess, Luke Davis and John Sodt — have announced that they will run for the Westerville Board of Education as a unit, saying electing them as a team will prove effective for change in the district.[2]
