A Trumbull County Senior Services Levy Renewal measure was on the May 4, 2010 ballot in Trumbull County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 26,468 (73.94%)Approveda
  • NO 9,331 (26.06%)[1]

This measure sought to renew the .75 mill levy that was in place which provides funds for the maintaining senior facilities and services in the county. The renewal will keep the levy in place for a further five years.[2] Proponents were pushing for this measure, saying that without it services would vastly decline. They noted that on average, one-third of county seniors take advantage of some services funded by this levy. Opponents noted that while they were not against senior services being provided, allocation and use of the money was in question.[3]
