Turner City Police Services Fee Repeal Measure 24-291 (November 2009)

The Turner City Police Services Fee Repeal Measure 24-291 was on the November 3 ballot in Marion County for voters in the City of Turner.

The measure asked voters if they wanted to keep or repeal the current $8 police fee in place in the city. There is not enough money from the city budget currently to fund the police office as it is, so without this fee there would be drastic cuts in service and a defisit in the city budget, according to proponents.[1]
