Cobb joined the Tennessee State House of Representatives in 2009. He has served in that position since, representing the 64th District.
Cobb has worked as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician for the Columbia Fire Department since 1999.
Cobb earned his Emergency Medical Technician License from Columbia State Community College in 2000. He went on to receive his Associate's Degree in Fire Science Technology from Volunteer State Community College in 2003. He then earned his B.A. in Professional Studies from the University of Memphis in 2005.
