U.S. PIRG, or the United States Public Interest Research Group, is the federation of state Public Interest Research Groups (PIRGs). It is a 501(c)(4) public advocacy organization[1] and focuses on consumer issues.[2] It has two 501(c)(3) sister organizations, the U.S. PIRG Education Fund[3] and the Student PIRGs.[4]
