University City School District Bond Issue Question (April 2013)
This measure authorized the University City School District to increase its debt by $19.4 million through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount in order to fund the furnishing, renovation and equipping of school facilities.
This measure requires a 4/7ths (57.1%) majority approval rate to pass.

|“|| For the purpose of implementing the recommendations of the Facilities Steering Committee, including, but not limited to,
financing the cost of renovating, furnishing and equipping existing District schools and facilities, shall the Board of Education of the School District of University City be authorized to borrow money in the amount of Nineteen Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($19,400,000), and to issue the general obligation bonds of the School District of University City for the payment thereof, resulting in an estimated increase to the debt service property tax levy of zero cents ($0.00) per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation? If this proposition is approved the adjusted debt service levy of the School District of University City is estimated to remain at 73.8 cents ($.738) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation of real and person property.
