Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District EMS Levy Measure (November 2012)
This measure authorized the Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District to levy a property tax with a rate of $.50 per $1,000 for 5 years in order to fund Emergency Medical Ambulance services in the district. Currently these services are provided by the non-profit Emergency Action Services (AESE). But AESE has indicated that it can no longer continue these services. If this measure is approved the EASE members would become members of Upper McKenzie Rural Fire Protection District and continue to provide EMS services.
