Hi 911news, I just wanted to give you a heads-up that you are misformatting your links, causing them to not work. Instead of an equal sign between the URL and the text that you want displayed in the footnote, you should be using a space. That will make them work.

Also, I really prefer the display text in the footnote to give the name of the publication first (to me, the most important re: whether this is a reliable source), then the name of the article, and then the date. All this info gives the readers the information they might need to decide if they want to go to the source article.
