It's spring time.

Spring time signals just one thing here at Ballotpedia - Primary election season is underway!

It's April, and primary elections have already come to pass in both Texas and Illinois. The remaining U.S. states will host primary elections over the next few months.

Are you ready to cast your primary election ballot? Do you know who you're voting for?

Just in case you still need to brush up on candidates and election information, this month we're highlighting Ballotpedia’s expansive election coverage brought to you by our major content projects. Ballotpedia is working diligently to cover six different types of elections in 2014: congressional, state legislative, state executive officials, statewide and local ballot measures, municipal government and school boards elections. Within these pages, you will find election overviews, filing deadlines, election dates, voter registration deadlines, candidate, incumbent and ballot measure information and original analysis.

Cast your vote this primary election season!

Iowa Correction

Thank you very much for catching/correcting the error. I'm double-checking, but it looks like everything has been fixed. Thanks again!--User:TylerM, November 9, 2011

Iowa state executives

Thanks so much for leaving me a message on my talk page. You are correct about the Iowa offices. There was a category missing on some of the Iowa state executive pages. I've now fixed that so that all of the offices we cover do appear on this page. We are in the process of expanding and clarifying our state executive coverage. I appreciate you taking the time to bring this issue to my attention. Please don't hesitate to contact me again if you have any other questions or comments. Thanks! --Geoff Pallay 19:43, 6 December 2012 (CST)

Go right ahead to add information about the Executive Council. Thanks for checking! Is that entity unique to Iowa in its structure and responsibilities? --Geoff Pallay 15:14, 19 December 2012 (CST)

Local settings

That's a great idea about wikimedia commons. That's something that we will look to put into our Local Settings file at some point in early 2013. Really appreciate you taking the time to make the suggestion! Once it goes live, I'll be sure to make a note on your profile here to give you a heads up. --Geoff Pallay 08:39, 20 December 2012 (CST)

CSS and JS

Those are great proposals. I checked out the links you provided (hotcats and popups) and those definitely appear to be things that would benefit Ballotpedia. If you have proposals, along with links to examples of how they could help, that would be extremely useful in our research before making the change. I can't promise a date of when any of the proposals will be in effect but we do hope to reviews these in 2013. BaileyL 10:16, 22 January 2013 (CST)
