A Warren City Fire Levy Addition measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Warren, which is in Macomb County.

This measure sought to add to the current fire levy by a rate of $4.90 per $1,000 of assessed value for a period of five years in order to further pay for police and fire protection costs in the city.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Charter of the City of Warren be amended to authorize the levy of an additional 4.9 mills on each dollar of taxable value for five (5) years dedicated to preserving police and fire safety protection at the 2012 level? The millage would result in the collection of an estimated $16,065,530 of new revenues in the first year the millage is levied, beginning with the tax levy in December, 2012.[3]
