There may be a Warren Hospital Tax Referendum on the May ballot in Columbia County.

There is a current petition drive to reverse an approved 2004 hospital tax in the city of Warren. A hospital tax was approved by city voters but the state did not approve the building of the hospital which would have benefited from the tax. So currently some residents are trying to get the tax reversed and let the money go back to the residents since the money being collected is not being used for the purpose with which it was supposed to be. 2,113 signatures need to be collected by December 11 in order to get the petition approved.[1]
